Methodology

How respondents were selected: from the YouGov registration panel, to be representative of all adult U.S. citizens

Who answered: 1,500 adult US citizens

How: online

When: July 30 to August 2, 2022

How the sample was weighted: by gender, age, race, and education based on the 2018 American Community Survey, conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as 2016 presidential votes and 2020 (or non-votes)

Margin of error: approximately 3% for the entire sample
