Robert Brundrett named president of Ohio Oil & Gas Association
COLUMBUS—Bruce Levengood, chairman of the board, today announced that Robert Brundrett has been named president of the Ohio Oil & Gas Association.
Over the past 10 years, Brundrett has held several positions with the Ohio Manufacturers’ Association, the most recent of which was Managing Director of Public Policy Services. In this role, he was responsible for coordinating the association’s policy and developing and implementing its political, legislative and regulatory strategies. He also served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Ohio Auditor of State and served in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate.
“Robert’s years of experience in professional associations and his familiarity with public policy and the state legislature make him a terrific choice to lead our association,” said Levengood. “I look forward to working together in the years to come to serve our members and benefit our industry.”

Brundrett is originally from Troy, Ohio. He received his law degree from Cleveland State University and his undergraduate degree from Xavier University.
Founded in 1947, OOGA is a statewide trade association serving approximately 1,300 members whose mission is to protect, promote, foster and advance the common interests of those engaged in all aspects of the natural gas and petroleum industry in Ohio.
