Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are working on a new TV show that takes a “political stance” on feminism and racial inequality.

The show, which will focus on “normal” people, has been shown to a number of television executives, the mirror reports.

An insider told the newspaper that the show’s goal will be to empower women and tackle the issue of racial inequality.

They added that while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will both appear on the show, the project will not be about them.

Harry and Meghan will both work as co-producers for the show they originally presented in June.

Meetings have already taken place with TV bosses such as NBC Universal Content Studios President Bonnie Hammer, whom Meghan has known from her time on the Suits show.

In April, Meghan provided voiceovers for the Disney + Elephants documentary, and now the royal couple hope to produce their own ‘worthy’ documentaries through their own film and television production company.
